Calendar of Events Current Calendar of Chamber Events Wayzata residents enjoy a number of community events year round. The calendar of events begins in February with the annual Chilly Open Golf Tournament , played on frozen Lake Minnetonka. The Wayzata Towne Trolley provides free public transportation around downtown Wayzata. Be sure to check out the Wayzata Art Experience - 3 fun filled days of exclusive art, live musical performances, and fabulous food. The Sunrise Series is an education opportunity that the Chamber brings you for no cost at all! The Summer Concert Series is one of the most popular events held at the historic Wayzata Depot against the beautiful lake backdrop. Wayzata merchants gear up every July to host Crazy Days – 5 fun-filled days of amazing deals and events. The town’s annual celebration, James J. Hill Days , is held the weekend after Labor Day every year. 2006 boasts the festivals 32nd year! Chamber members always enjoy the annual Golf Classic, held at either the Wayzata or Woodhill Country Clubs. The year comes to a close with Wayzata's holiday shopping experience followed by the annual Holiday Open House and Tree Lighting ceremony at the historic Wayzata Depot, held in the middle of November.
