Leisure destinations always vary during the travel season, but no others are as interesting or enjoyable as a trip to Wayzata, the jewel of Lake Minnetonka. Nestled into the scenic shores of Wayzata Bay, Wayzata is the best place to see one of Minnesota's most popular lakes. A village rich in history, Wayzata is the boutique and shopping stop for all the people along the water.

Visit the Wayzata Historical Museum located in the historic Wayzata Depot, or take a ride on the Minnehaha Streetcar Boat, restored in 1996. Wayzata is known for its beautiful gardens and parks, which you could see touring around in the Wayzata Towne Trolley. Also, make sure to check on the resources available to you at the Wayzata Library. A trip to Wayzata wouldn't be complete however, without a stop at the Minnetonka Center for the Arts.
