About the Event

The Wayzata Chilly Open is a unique event that was started in 1984 to celebrate our "chilly" Minnesota winters. This year we have 800 golfers registered to come out on frozen Lake Minnetonka to enjoy food, fun and frozen festivities!  Golfers play "frozen" golf on one of two 9+ hole courses with tennis balls.  This year's event will also include a chili cook-off and live music in the 19th Hole Tent!  The event will be held February 13th, 2010.   Tee Times are available at 10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm. 

2010 Theme

This year's theme is "Around the World!" Each of the 18+ golf holes will represent a different country from around the world!  With the Olympics starting the night before, golfers also might have the opportunity to experience some other fun activities!
